These rules cover cancellation, refunds and withdrawal for WorkVisaConnect paid digital Basic membership purchased in the mobile apps. Mandatory consumer laws prevail. App Store and Google Play purchases are also subject to Apple’s and Google’s refund rules. This is not legal advice. Membership is not sold by card on the website.
1. Scope
These rules apply to paid digital Basic membership fees purchased through the WorkVisaConnect iOS/Android apps (App Store / Google Play). Available periods include monthly, 3 months, 6 months and yearly. Free is free; Premium is not sold, so no Premium refund issue arises. Web card checkout is not offered.
The Service is digital; there is no physical product return.
2. Withdrawal (overview)
Distance contracts often give consumers a 14-day right of withdrawal. Exceptions can apply to digital content/services when performance starts immediately at the consumer’s express request with acknowledgement that the right may be lost.
If you complete membership payment and accept immediate digital access, withdrawal may not be available once access is granted. Store purchases may also require acknowledgement in the App Store or Google Play purchase flow.
3. When refunds may be granted
We may refund or credit after reasonable review when (and, for store purchases, subject to Apple/Google processes):
- Duplicate charges or excess amounts taken by technical error.
- Payment was taken but membership access was never enabled within a reasonable time and support could not fix it.
- Law or a clear seller-side failure blocks performance against you.
- Digital performance has not yet started and a statutory withdrawal right still applies.
4. When refunds are usually refused
As a rule (subject to mandatory law and store policies), refunds are not given for:
- Basic period fees after access has been unlocked and/or used (digital performance started).
- A listing closing, an employer refusing sponsorship, or not getting hired: third-party outcomes, not a placement guarantee.
- Choosing the wrong plan or period, buyer’s remorse or “did not like the content” once digital withdrawal exceptions apply.
- Suspension or closure for Terms violations.
- Premium features not yet for sale, or free features.
5. Cancelling renewal
For App Store or Google Play subscriptions, cancel or change auto-renewal in the store’s subscription management screens (also linked from Manage subscription in the app), or follow Apple/Google help articles for your device.
You may also email support@workvisaconnect.com / Contact Us with your account email; we can guide you, but store billing changes are controlled by Apple or Google.
Unless we write otherwise, cancellation does not refund the current prepaid period; access may continue until period end, then Free plan.
6. How to request a refund
Store purchases: request a refund through Apple or Google using their official refund / report-a-problem channels. You may also write to support@workvisaconnect.com so we can help verify account access issues.
For account linking or entitlement problems after a store purchase (not a store refund request), write to support@workvisaconnect.com or Contact Us with your account email, store (Apple or Google), approximate purchase date and a short description.
Approved refunds follow the payment provider’s or store’s timelines (often several business days).
7. Partial periods and plan changes
Unless a campaign or store policy clearly says otherwise, unused days are not pro-rated by WorkVisaConnect. The App Store or Google Play amount controls the sale. Changing to another Basic period (monthly / 3 / 6 / yearly) is handled as a store subscription change under Apple or Google rules when purchased in-app.
No Premium fee is taken while unsold. Plan changes are announced on the site and in the apps.
8. Complaints and statutory rights
Please try support@workvisaconnect.com or /contact first. For store billing disputes, use Apple or Google support as well. Where you are a consumer, statutory forums remain available. General queries: info@workvisaconnect.com.
9. Updates
These rules may change with pricing, payments, store policies or law. The version on the site (also shown in the app WebViews) is current.
